had to pile right into our clean white cravats and came over here to Julie's. Some of her friends were giving a supper here and they were a jolly lot. Most of them are teachers at Julie's old stomping ground. Dorothy Stooke (that's the way you say it but I don't know how to spell it; perhaps you'll know her- her father's Dean Stooke from the college) is very anxious to have my lil' ol' comedy for the benefit of the hospital they are going to have here for wounded soldiers. The girls seem very enthusiastic about it ad of course, considering it's such a worthy cause, I s'pose I'll do 'er. I did want time to get my breath and look around the house tho, after all the cleaning. At any rate I'll have some new songs. I'm getting tired of the old ones. Any suggestions? Gratefully received,
