I want you to know we had some dinner last night. I'm beginning to find things about the kitchen, and to learn how to use them. I had the best broiled steak -- um -- boy! Sorry you're having such a time reading this but it's nothing compared to the fun I'm having writing it. Such a pen! There should be a law against it. If I don't hear from you pretty soon I'm going to bomb the post office. It's too long between letters! I hope your mail is reaching you regularly dear. Must run home and learn how to run a furnace. Goodnight! What a job! do hurry home and take care of it for me. All my love, and oh -- such a kiss!! Daphne
