tell you the thing that just now comes into my mind, tho I don't like to, really. But here it is: I'm sorry to admit that there are a few days out of each month when my nerves are in a perfectly _hellish_ condition. There is no other way of describing it. I feel blue & depressed, and the least thing upsets or peeves me. If I am not working hard at the time, I can generally keep fairly good control over myself, but very often I fly into a perfect rage over nothing, and then slink off somewhere and weep it off. This business always heralds my "tummy ache" and after that is well established, the sun shines for me again.
