and So. Dak. are bone dry. The news we are getting from "over there" is wonderfully cheering just now. There are no boys in all the world like ours and we are hoping and praying that the New Year will see this horrible war ended. Daphne is going in to play [Sammy Backers?] and as I can't listen and write at the same time, I'll say good night and God keep you. Affectionately Aunt Joyce. P.S. Daphne says to tell you that I am also Aunt Maude or you may think Uncle Emil is a Mormon.
