telling me that Lucile Lee's man had been severely wounded; also Dearing Reynolds'. Poor kids. I've not written them a word all summer, and Dearing and I hit Cottey the same year. She was married to George Fevrel a year ago. Funny how the kids that used to call me Miss Daphne, impudently dropped the Miss after they were married. I used to have so much fun with Elizabeth & Ted over that very thing. To go back to Trix -- she writes that Bob is now Major Milone, "and on the Front somewhere, bless his heart." I'll send you her letter if I can find it, because it was Irish as Trix, and sounds like her usual line of slang and hot air. I had a real heart broken letter from Hazel too, but
