her a quiz in History (Brrr!) that left her white headed and wrinkled, and she has shuffled off to bed for fear I'll give her something more to do. With Mama in bed too, the house is quiet, and I can devote every bit of my shattered intellect to this letter. Frankly, there's not much of me left. I'm horribly weak. But I feel great, and my appetite has come back again so the Dr. says I'll probably "pick up and gain flesh again." (Happy thought, that.) Curses! I'll be back at 130 again, I spuz. You last letter, dated Oct. 14th is a darling. It proves to me that one can write love letters with a typewriter. I'd really been a little in doubt. (No, dearest! Don' be so insolt!) I love you so much more, every time a letter comes. Hustle them along, Hubs, and first thing you know I'll be getting fond of you!! Oh honey, honey! I have such a terrible thing to confess.
