     Shell not very large, subglobase, largely expanded in last volution. Aperture transverse, crescent-shaped. Lip thickened. Umbilicus obscure. Dorsum with marginal sinus which continues around the periphery as a band. Surface marked by fine regular striae which bend abruptly backward at the periphery indicating the depth of the marginal sinus.
