Stenopora columenaris, Geinitz, 1866, Carb. and Dyas in Nebraska. Shape and size very variable; sometimes sub-hemispherical, sometimes cylindrical, at other times approaching dendriform. The surface is nodulous; the mouths of the corallites are very small, one eightieth or one one [??] hundredth of an inch in diameter, mouths round; distance between corallites about twice the diameter of mouths. A cross section shows minute vesicular structure. Epithica rough with wrinkles which have a concentric tendency. Geol. Pos. and Loc. Missouri Stage at various places in Nebraska, Kansas.
