     Below the top of the first radials the body is irregularly basin-shaped, the transverse diameter more than twice the height; base flattened or slightly concave. The calyx (body) is composed of thick convex plates with bevelled edges, base rather large pentagonal in form; stem covering about one third of diameter of base. Subradial plates having height and width about equal, two of them hexagonal and three pentagonal one side of each joining a side of two base plates. First radials all pentagonal somewhat smaller than subradials, truncated above so
