Volutions twelve or thirteen in number, almost or quite flat, gradually expanding from the apex to the aperture; last volution forming at least one-half of entire length of the shell, somewhat extended below, suture not well marked on upper part of shell but more distinct on lower part. Aperture narrowly sub-ovte, sharply angular above; outer lip thin sharp and nearly straight; inner lip somewhat reflexed below,
