Dear Conger, The handkerchief came, and I think it's very pretty, and I want to thank you for it, over and over, and I'm very thankful to you for sending it. I'm going to put it away and when I get married I will carry it then. Grandmother and father Reynolds gave a new years and anniversary dinner, and invited me. I think next to my folks yours are the grandest people I have ever met, your mother and father sure are lucky to have you, and you are lucky to have them.
