Orlin Tremaine...The feuds we used to see in Brass Tacks... Personality: - Arden "Buns" Benson of the MFS, tallest man in science-fiction, perhaps the most amiable during his amiable moments. Buns has been a steady follower of science and weird fiction since 1934, and a steady follower of women longer than even he remembers. Has a good deal of writing ability, though as yet he isn't so inclined. Enjoys early Amazings more than the present crop, has a fine collection dating back to '29 and '30. Always finds time for a good weird yarn. Hates: All present mags, majority of fan publications, MFS meetings as a rule, jive bands, most people, wolves, and anyone who has no sense of humor. Loves: (There is no medium. He hates or loves.) - His bike, Oliver E. Saari, swimming, his collection of old time records, multitudes of certain types of University of Minnesota students, wolfing, tangos, schottishes and polkas, food, and beer -- only in small quantities. Buns is a U. of M. student in Engineering at present, subject to the military scythe this fall.
