has been warm & dusty so dry we nead rain so bad I washed baked cookies Mr Ogle was here all afternoon I made a (piplant?) pie for supper my head akes to day Wed May 13 has been a warm day no rain yet I scrubed baked bread & Ironed Aunt Laura Klingman brought a carpet to day Linie was up this morning the boys are planting corn to day Mrs Maress was here peddling linement we dident get any Th May 14 has been a nice day but no rain Mrs A W Kimball & Mrs Al Kimball & children was here all day we had a splendid visit Mother gave them a jar of kraut home with them Fri May 15 has been a nice day no rain I made father & wall each a shirt to day it is so dry & dusty sat May 16 A warm day dusty had no rain
