Sat August 1 A real warm fornoon when this afternoon it clouded up & wind changed to the north & blue up cool we had a very hard rain this Eve father & Mother was at Wadena & came home in the rain got me a new blue calico dress Em was here to dinner Sunday August 2 A nice day rather cool for this time of year Lina & family Lizzie & family was here all day to dinner & supper Em has come to stay with me to night Dell came on the gap to day Mon Aug 3 A very warm day I washed (illegible) a & little Walter Rathlisberger was here this afternoon (illegible) got the headache & I took her with Bills harness & buggy I scrubed to day Tues Aug 4 A very nice day I ironed Linie & Babies was here to day Alli & Em I sewed some caned 1 qt of blackberries & I am for bed
