Th Dec 24 A nice warm day real frosty this morning rained some this eve Bill went over to Elgin to night to the Christmas tree Wig Wall Jim & I played Californa Jack Jim came home from Morts where he has been kutting wood Wig came up this eve in his shirt sleeves Fri Dec 25 Christmas day & a very dull day it is snowing getting colder going to freeze up I guess hope so for we are getting tiard of the mud Bills John horse was sick this eve G Shaffer came over but the horse was better he eat supper Luther Shaffer was here also John & Alla Johnston they poped corn the wind is just a howling
