sat Jan 4 a nice bright day Jimmie & Perle came over to day after butter was here for dinner we got a letter from Wallace this eve sun Jan 5 a beautiful bright warm day I went to sunday school and church Jim was home Mary Ogle was over John shaffer is our superintendent of our sunday school Lizzie Alingman assistant superintendent My head aches Mon Jan 6 this has been a beautiful bright warm day I washed & brought the clothes in Father walked to Brainard today Mrs Ashelman children & her mother was here this afternoon we churned most all day dident get any butter Hames Neff shot and killed Rose falb last eve then shot and killed himself but shot twice at a sivilian but dident kill him
