sun May 4 A very gloomy fornoon cleared of about 4 oclock was bright & nice there was sunday school convention at the church to day was very good Rev John Walter eat dinner here to day Wallace went to J D shaffers for supper this eve I am very tired Mon May 5 A nice day a little windy rained this eve I washed the carpenter came to day to build our barn John whitenbough Vick Wells seely dye a Jennings boy vine Peters was here to day Tues May 6 A cold windy day we all hard at days work Wed May 7 A chilly morning got warm in the afternoon a lovely evening everything is growing fast th May 8 A nice day I went to Wadena this afternoon drove John Whitenbough
