Tues July 1 A nice day I washed we had our free mail delivery to day the first the men worked on the road to day Clay Davis eat dinner here to day wed July 2 we had a heavy rain early this morning was showery all day I ironed called on Lena & Kattie th July 3 this has been a very warm day we had rain thunder & lightning last night the men cut poasts to day I baked a lore cake this fornoon worked on my rug this afternoon Fri July 4 A very warm day I celebrated the 4 at Wadena went down with Pete Ashlimans folks came home with Ogles had a very good time Jim was home for dinner Wallace plowing corn sat July 5 A nice day Jim was home for dinner to day I dident do much to day was tired
