th July 31 A hot day Wallace came after me this morning the (harvesters?) are here came last night the men are cutting oats Tues Aug 5 I ironed Wallace went to West Union to day Mother visited Ella Kerr Father & I was alone has been a lovely day Wed Aug 6 we finished harvesting (?) Aug 2 this has been a nice day I canned 8 qts apples went over to Linies & back the men are making hay th Aug 7 A nice day I helped with the hay my sow had 10 pigs another had 7 Fri Aug 8 A nice day I have been sick all day the men finished haying to day
