Fri Oct 31 A nice day I made more crab apple butter baked cookiies a lot of other work just took a bath packed my satchels for Forest City hope sunday a nice day sat Nov 1 A gloomy day rained some this morning I washed baked bread moped baked a cake I am very tired sun Nov 2 A rainy day Father took me to Fayette to day Lizzie Klingman & I stayed all night with Sharlotte Fox we went to church this eve Mon Nov 3 A nice day I started for Forest City to day got as far as Garner Tues Nov 4 I landed at Forest City at Aunt Beckie Carters at half past 2 stayed all night
