sun Dec 7 A cold day snow blew hard George F took me out to Allice Fishers this afternoon Mon Dec 8 A very cold morning got warmer Allice & her son John brought me to Forest City this afternoon I stayed all night with Ann & Jess Peters I got a letter from Mother telling me to come home Tues Dec 9 A nice day Jess P Vere & I took dinner with Vernes (Nornet?) to day I had supper with John Fishers folks then they took me over to Jinnies Wed Dec 10 we visited hard all day th Dec 11 A lovely day we visited all day Fri Dec 12 I started for home Gunst Ben Clara Russ came to Garner with me & landed at Uncle Jack Petersons in Elgin at 6 this eve
