Mon Dec 29 A real nice fornoon we had a regular blizzard this eve I did a large washing am very tired Jim made a scuttle hole in our chamber ceiling Mother & Father took care of the meat Effie helped them Tues Dec 30 A real nice day we finished trying our lard made sausage Aunt Beckie Curtiss came this afternoon Brother Will was here for dinner came after a load of straw wed Dec 31 A nice day I went over to Lenies this eve we finished filling our meat (illegible) another year has gone
