A word to the wise is sufficient.. ************************ Revampings This thing which now you hold twixt grimey claws is the eighth issue of Vampire, also known as the conservative fan's Spicy Detective. All bright and observing slans will note that this number sports the long-promised litho cover by Splawn -- tho credit for this rightfully belongs to contributing editor Joe Hensley, who for the second time has generously shelled out the greenbacks to angel us uns a litho. Now, obviously anyone who coughs up two five-spots to buy covers for somebody else's fanzine is either (1) tetched in the haid, or (2) a fine and noble altruist -- a gentleman and judge of good likker.
