Hasty addition, stencild [sic] direct: Art Joquel & Paul Freehafer, reading unstapled portions of the issue, hollered out simultaneously "Hey, is this the end of 'Man into Monster'?"- "Is this all there is of 'Man into Monster'?" I then rememberd [sic] a little slip Henry had slipt [sic] into the envelope, & this is it: They helped him into his car. ----- Two days later, Mr. Twerp went to the science and weird fiction fans' convention. Forrest J. Ackerman, arrayed in his usual futuristic costume, met him at the door. "I told the fans that you'd come," Ackerman said. World Science Fiction Fan Number One turned to the excited mob of fans and with the air of introducing quite a celebrity, proudly said, "Mr. Kenry Huttner, whom you all know as the author of that great story, 'Man into Monster', has just arrived."
