sun July 2 A very warm day Mon July 3 A very warm day hot & dry we nead rain so very bad Tues July 4 hot & dry & dusty we all stayed home had ice cream & lemonade I caned some raspberries & made 3½ glasses of R B jelly am tired made 2 R B pies & a cake we all had dinner togather at Wallaces we all went down to H Robbins & had the fire works togather which was fine wed July 5 A fearful hot day we
