high-grade meeting on scientific uses of satellites. Following the meeting, I started negotiations for the assembly of the papers to be published as a hardback book (via L. M. Jones for publication by the University of Michigan Press). I will probably undertake the editing of the book. On the 28th we had the 3rd meeting of the U.S.N.C. Technical Panel on Earth Satellite Program. I was appointed chairman of the Working Group on Internal Instrumentation, and was charged with assembling and organizing the group.
