Page Two --- Science Fiction Collector ETC. Sorry to disturb you but that magazine is here again. That's right. The Anniversary Issue of the Science Fiction Collector has finally appeared. Although the Collector is irregularly published, and thus offers no excuses for belated appearances. I had hoped to have this issue out by June, at the latest. With the result that here it is, mid-August, and the May-June issue has just hit the mails. Although this isn't the largest issue of the Collector to have appeared -- Number sixteen has that honor, I believe -- it _is_ the biggest small sized issue of the Collector. And, in comparison with the last few issues of the magazine, this issue should be doubly attractive. You might ask why I didn't have more than forty pages. The answer is simple enough. Not enough material. As a matter of fact, if I had spare material on hand right now, I would guarantee the appearance of the 26th issue within three weeks, with 28-32 pages. However, material is very scarce right now -- due to lack of correspondence -- so that I'll have to wait 'til I get some before starting work. I wish to thank some of our California readers for responding to our plea for marterial. Would that all our readers were as conscientious as they. (Continued on Page 38)
