Anyway, I know who you are, Mr. Star Treader MISKE! Furthermore, Hornig isn't the only one who has acclaimed FD as being the best since FANTASY. The Philadelphia Science Fiction Conference will be held sometime in the near future. If you're interested in attending, communicate with the editor of the COLLECTOR or with the write of this column at your leisure. ONWARD TO CHICAGO IN L($) 1940 ! ************ ********* ****** * Yup! That's right. The annual Philadelphia Science Fiction Conference will be held not long from now. An exact date has not as yet been decided upon. However, those of you who may be interested in attending this fanfair should drop ye editor a line or two in the not-too-distant future. Full details will then be mailed those who inquire about the whole proceedings. No one will be barred (that even includes M. Wollheim and a few other Michelists) ...everyone is welcome. Depending upon the acceptance of the Queens SFL, a soft ball game will be staged. Refreshments will be supplied free of charge. News about the Chicago SF Convention for 1940 will probably be forthcoming. And so on! Try to come!
