Tues Jan 16 a cold windy day Wallace & mother went to Wadena this fornoon Aulden was down a while Russell got a letter from his Grandpa McNeff & Octs to day wed Jan 17 a fine day a little gloomy but not cold we made our mince meat we caned 8 qts caned & some for a couple pies th Jan 18 a real nice day had more snow last night the wind blows guess it is putting it in piles I helped Lena with her mince meat she had 7 qts & for 2 pies we
