th July 10 A nice day we washed a lot of beding I got a creak in my back couldent do very much cant stration up it hurts me so the men are busy haying Fri July 12 A warm day wind pretty high we had some rain last night I caned 3½ raspberries 1½ qts cherries made 4 glasses of jelly 2 of cherry 2 of raspberry my back is so lame yet I put my matress together Sat July 13 A nice day we had a fine rain last night every thing looks fine sun July 14 A fine day I kept Ella the rest went to church
