th sept 11 we had a fine rain this morning I dident do anything but the house work Fri sept 12 A nice day we made 2 qts transcendent preserves caned 9 qts peaches Mr & Mrs Conner went to Linies this morning I am afraid of frost to night sat sept 13 A nice day we caned 6½ qts peaches for us & 8 qts for Lena she caned her down here her & children & Richard were here for dinner I am so tired my back hurts
