sat May 1 A chilly evening & morning we cleaned the back yard I did a lot of work to day am very tired & lame sun May 2 it has rained most all day & some last night is a cold rain we needed rain was getting real dry Mon May 3 A gloomy day Lena & I went up to the cemetery this afternoon called at Mrs. J. Smiths a little while it is raining this eve Tues May 4 A gloomy day hardly any sunshine rained this afternoon we washed Mother Lena & I set out some little trees
