Wallace finished making hay to day sun Aug 22 A fine day I took flowers up to the cemetery for Mother & Effies graves Bro Will & Lena & Bess came along I rode home with them & Father & I got ready & went down on their farm with them had a fine ride Mon Aug 23 A nice day we washed Lana Flossie & Ruby Robins called after some beans Tues Aug 24 A nice day I did mine & Lenies ironing baked 6 loaves bread buns fryed cakes & cinnamon rolls & a pan of biscuit I am tired Lena heped clean the church Ella stayed with me
