Tues sept 21 A cold morning is warmer this eve we washed I dug our early potatoes this afternoon Russell caryed them in the cellar for me Aunt Becca came this eve Mort & Lina brought her wed sept 22 A nice day I made 2 qts (illegible) butter 3 glasses of jelly Mr D H Hall came this eve for a visit Wallace went to Wadena after Lena & me each a bushel of peaches th sept 23 A nice day Mr Hall went away this morning I caned 9 qts peaches 2 qts & one pint plumbs baked 7 loaves bread got 2 meals did the other house work now I am (illegible) tired to night
