Fri Oct 1 A fine day I wept & cleaned all the house ironed (illegible) apples to day. sat Oct 2 we had some rain I did a lot of work sun Oct 3 Lily Fred E Walter E & family Robert E and family was all here for dinner Jim F called had a hard rain this afternoon Mon Oct 4 A cold windy damp day Father Lena Ella & I all went down to Jims place got some apples I am so busy drying apples
