ground hog could see his self we butchered a beef this fornoon Sam Ogle helped he was here [illegible] dinner Lina washed this afternoon the boys went to see Melvin Besman this eve Labanda & Ralf Shaffer was going with them nice moon light evening Tues Feb 3 A pretty good day we cold packed 20 qts beef had 22 the lid came of one 2 qt jar Labanda called this eve for some magazine pictures the boys dident get home last night till 20 minutes till 2 this morning had a good time
