th Apri 23 A nice day wind pretty high not so warm as yesterday Lena washed Wallace & Lena went to Clermont to a farm bureau meeting they will wish they hadent gone for it is raining hard I wish they hadent gone we nead the rain all right Fri Apri 24 we had a lovely rain this afternoon we ironed the men went over to the church & helped set some trees & clean up I am tired to night Wallace & Lena got to Clermont last nite commenced to rain turned around came home in the rain
