th June 11 A good corn day we had quite a rain last night got real warm this afternoon Wallace the boys & Ella & Bess All went to the church to a farm bureau meeting I don't think there will be any as it looks so like rain & thunderes all the time we ironed Mary & Cathryn Ogle called a little while Fri June 12 A rainy day rained hard at times rained last night I finished patching Wallace went to West Union this afternoon him & some more men to meet the supervisor to day to get the taxes reduced
