league convention was there all day was real good there was east Dubuque waukeen Independence Fayette Elgin Oelwein there was more chapters represented I don't remember what towns had a fine day for it wed June 17 A nice day but we had a bad storm last night it tore our hog house all to pieces blowed over some apple trees we was very thankful it was no worse Lena washed Zeb Davis fixed our barn roof where the shingles blew off Aulden & Ella went to John Rothlisbergers to league this eve Lena went with them Otto Pafershagen & family called
