th June 25 A gloomy morning cleared of was a nice afternoon is quite cool this eve I was alone from 8:30 AM til 5 PM the rest all went to Fayette to a farm bureau picnick I made 2 night dress all but the button holes for my self Russell has gone come where this eve Fri June 26 A nice day rained some last nite Lena finished painting the kitchen looks fine I finished my nite dresses & finished the patching Lena got some cabbage plants from Bessie Shaffer this eve Aulden took her & the girls after them
