Wallace Lena & the girls went to West Union this afternoon got Lena a dress & Mary Ane was at the (base?) a while Russell got home from Iowa City at 6 PM went yesterday him & Elixander Pallic they had supper there Russell took him home Jeb Davis & Lafe Horn are here building the hog house we ironed this fornoon I came home on a load of lumber with Wallace this morning had a good full week last week wed Aug 26 A nice day Wallace & Ella went to the fair this eve he was at Elgin this morning Aulden helped Jack shaffer
