the boys went over to Elgin this eve we all got quite a few preasints Mary was delited over her big doll sat Dec 26 A bitter cold day snow drifted so bad roads are bad so drifted sun Dec 27 this has been a very cold day was bitter cold last nite Wallace & Aulden went to church this afternoon Aulden was invited to supper at I F Shaffers which he excepted so (ded?) came home with out the (son?) was 14 below yesterday morning 12 this morning cold enough
