Dan Robbis we are glad she is off the place for she is cross with us Fri sept 24 A cold day we gathered some beans this afternoon beans are in bad shape so much rain they rot Wallace & Russell went to Elkader this eve Aurthur Craft called this eve to see if any of Fred R cattle in our field Dortha went home this eve her dad came after her is so cold I am afraid it will frost to night I am going to bed to get warm I gathered 2 milk pales of garden huckleberries so they wouldent freeze
