wed Oct 20 A cold day we ironed Aulden Ella & Dortha went to league at Mrs Ernst Rev starr called a little while I called at Ogles this morning Wallace was at Clearmont all day to get the foard fixed but failed to be all rite th Oct 21 A gloomy day cold wind we fryed our sausage down & meat am tired Ella dident go to school to day she wasent well Russell went to Elkader this after noon Wallace & Aulden went to a sale up around Postville
