Mon Dec 13 A bitter cold day Aulden took Ella to school this morning she want come home while it is so cold & bad she will stay with her Aunt Line Wallace & Russell went to Fayette to day Wallace won the hog calling contest got a tin hog trough I mad the button holes in Linies dress she finished one cut out another & almost made it Tues Dec 14 A cold day last night was bitter cold Mary dident feel a bit good to day Aulden & Russell went to West Union Auld got 3 teeth filled Russell has been sick all afternoon
