th June 1 A fine day the 3 boys plowed corn all day Lena washed I made 2 sour cream pies & a batch of fryed cakes got dinner done the dishes hung the clothes out Fri June 2 we had some rain this fornoon I went to Elgin with Russell we wasent there long I did some traiding Ovilla Myles Childten & her husband came today for a visit Lines niece sat June 3 A fine day I am so tired my knees are so lame Wallace bought a horse today got it over by Arlington pd 75 dollars hope it will prove all rite sun June 4 A fine day cool this eve Russell has gone to see his girl
