wed july 5 A high wind today couldn't put up any hay blowed so Lena & Aulden got a pail of Gooseberries I slept a while Louse Klingman past away this afternoon I feel so sorry for them th july 6 we had a very heavy rain today commenced before noon lasted all afternoon Lena commenced a wash got so dark in the cellar she had to stop a while we needed rain so bad & we sure got it Fri july 7 A nice day we all went to Louise Klingmans funeral but Russell & Ella was quite a large funeral
