wed Aug 23 A nice day Auldens calf took first preimium in the calf Club & Aulden got a silver cup for the first judge out of 14 boys he did fine he (stood?) 90 Rudy went to day Russell stayed up all night him & Aulden slept at Lizzie Kohlers th Aug 24 A fearful hot day we all went to the fare to day a big crowd the boys came home with us this eve Rudy stayed took care of the calves Wallace went back this eve it rained they came home in mud
