Fri Aug 25 A lot cooler to day but high wind we are all home to night brought the calves & Millie got home about 6 this eve Stephen & Fern Kolhlis her & children went with Wallace to day we ironed made pickles & apple butter Rudy brought Ella such a nice Cupa doll this eve she thinks it fine sat Aug 26 A fine day we made apple butter caned Plumbs pickels 15 qts in all Wallace Aulden Ella & Mary went to Arlington this fornoon this afternoon Wallace the girls went to Elgin got 24 cts for eggs
