sun sept 17 A fine day a little cool Russell went too see his girl this eve I wish he would cut it out & stay at home mon sept 18 it rained all day & half last night I patched socks Ella dident go too school was so rainy Tues sept 19 A gloomy day so damp & cold Wallace & Lena went to Elgin she got the boys each 2 union suits Russell 2 every day shirts payed for Russells rubbers he got yesterday Mary stayed home with me she is as so good I made button holes in Ellas pants
